QR / NFC Checkpoints
that are tamper-proof and GPS-verified.
Every checkpoint in RondaQ is uniquely registered, tied to a real physical location, and validated with GPS, time, and user identity. The result: patrol evidence that is auditable and defensible – not just signatures in a logbook.
- Date and time of scan (server time)
- Guard identity and assigned route
- GPS coordinates and distance from expected location
- Compliance status (On Time, Late, Missed)
RondaQ uses QR and NFC tags as “anchor points” for every patrol location. When a guard scans a checkpoint using the mobile PWA, the system will:
- ✔ Check whether the checkpoint belongs to the guard’s assigned route at that time.
- ✔ Record scan time, guard identity, and device ID.
- ✔ Match GPS coordinates to the checkpoint location to prevent remote or fake scans.
- ✔ Mark checkpoint status as On Time, Late, or Missed for reporting and performance review.
All of this data can be turned into weekly, monthly, or yearly reports for management and clients – with clear timestamps, locations, and patrol patterns.
Reduce fake records and shared scans
Each checkpoint scan is tied to a logged-in guard and a specific device. Supervisors can quickly spot suspicious scan patterns and investigate them.
Patrols continue even without signal
Guards can scan in low or no coverage areas. The data is stored on the device and automatically synced to the server when connectivity is restored.
Supports many types of sites and schedules
Configure checkpoints for hourly patrols, daily rounds, or shift-based patterns to match your existing SOP and on-site requirements.
